No complaints

Well, the last few days have been busy.

I’ve been heavy into study mode, with my final exam taking place a week from Friday.

In addition to the studying, work has been keeping me busy as well. I covered the store for Lynn today so she could get some work finished up at the church, and I managed to get three stories written in my time down there.

Tomorrow, I have two meetings to cover for the paper, which should get me another two to three stories between the two.

Speaking of church, I also spent some time this evening finishing up the edit for this Friday’s devotional, which I produce with B. A few weeks back, we shifted our filming schedule, allowing me to have a full week to to get the editing done instead of the one day which I had before. Making the switch has definitely helped with my stress level, and having the extra time allows me to put an extra level of polish on the work, so I think that it’s win/win.

Mentally, I’m doing okay. I’ve been struggling a little bit lately. I’m normally a morning person, but over the last couple of weeks I’ve been having a really hard time getting myself going in the mornings. Other than that, things have been going well. I’ve been keeping myself productive.

Despite the sleeping in, I am getting my rest, which is an important aspect of my self care. While I haven’t been exercising as often as I would like, I’m still making it a habit to hit the treadmill three to four days a week, which is also helping keep me level.

The biggest stress I have going on in my life right now is my final exam, and while I do have some anxiety surrounding it, I don’t have as much as I used to. If anything, the stress I’m dealing with his helping keep me sharp, if nothing else.

Overall, I have no complaints. I just need to keep doing what I’m doing.
