After a very short period of deliberation, I have decided to change photography website providers.
It turns out that with the Adobe Photography package I subscribe to includes free portfolio hosting, using their software. The only charge for the service is $12/year for the custom domain. That is opposed to the $13/month I’ve been paying for my current gallery provider.
In my opinion the site provided by Adobe is much more professional looking, and a lot more functional. The only drawback is I need to make my own photo load arrangements, but considering how user unfriendly my shootproof domain was, it’s not much of a loss.
So, without further ado, http://www.kevinjsabophotography.com is born.
The new website features an about me section, highlights from 2018 and 2019, and password protected client galleries. For customers with existing galleries, the new site has the former password from ShootProof.
I am excited about this change, and that I will be saving some money as well. I still have some logistical things to figure out as far as printing and data storage, but I think overall this will be a great transition.
I’m working hard to get things looking cleaner and more professional as I grow my business in 2020. Please check out the site, and let me know what you think.
