I am blown away.
Thanks to Lynn’s share of my last blog explaining her klutziness and attempted chair based slow-motion acrobatics October has turned into a record month for my blog.
I hate to capitalize on her misfortune, but I appreciate all the views none-the-less. The blogging (and writing in general), has definitely helped me work through a lot of what I have, and continue to face.
Yesterday was a challenge being so far from Lynn when the unfortunate event happened. However, thanks to our friends, Lynn got treated and came home to me and the store got and remains covered allowing me to be closer to home to help Lynn out. My editor has been amazing as well, allowing me to remain closer to home until Lynn gets on her feet.
I’m appreciative of the support we have been given, and am thankful for the support we have in our small community.
This support has been so critical to our success in this town. It’s been critical to my success. Things haven’t been easy over the last five years, but I am slowly beginning to break through the bonds that hold me in the past.
I’m not where I wanted to be at this point in my life. I’m not even on the road I wanted to be on. Life has been a wild adventure that has taken me places I never thought I would go. My mind still takes me to some of the more unpleasant places, totally unbidden. I’m a work in progress.
I wouldn’t be where I am today if not for the support of my wife. Thanks to our amazing friends, I get the opportunity to support her while our business is looked after.
Thank you everyone!
****PS: HAPPY SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!! Be safe tonight!!!
